The padlock can be used as an open and simple padlock. pedal immediately activates the alarm, listening to the characteristic sound and arms at 10sec. The alarm when the siren is activated sounds for 10sec. When we want to disarm we put the key in the lock. The batteries (6 x A76 / LR44 1,5V) need replacement when you hear a prolonged sound to change them, unscrew the screws under the lock and carefully pull out the top cover and replace with new ones.
